QEPRA AGM 2011 Agenda

(Due to technical problems with the file conversion, the last paragraph of 9c is incomplete.  It should read;  This will not have any effect on the responsible use of the Greens by residents.  It will permit the Police to deal with drinkers of ALL ages causing a nuisance.)

The AGM will be held at Esporta on Wednesday 22nd June.  Registration will be open from 7.30pm with the meeting starting promptly at 8pm.

The Esporta bar will be available for refreshments before the meeting, during the refreshment break and after the meeting.  There will also be a raffle to raise funds for QEPRA.

Queen Elizabeth Park Residents’ Association (QEPRA)

Calling Notice for the Annual General Meeting (AGM)

To be held in Esporta on Wednesday 22nd June 2011 at 8.00pm

Formal Notification is hereby given that the QEPRA  AGM will be held on 22nd June.  All Residents are invited to attend and it would be helpful if those planning to be present could notify the Secretary beforehand – ideally via e-mail  – to: qep.residents.sec@gmail.com

The Agenda will be published and circulated by 8th June.  Residents wishing to propose Items for the Agenda or to submit Resolutions  (which should each have a proposer and seconder) for consideration are requested to submit them to the Secretary by no later than 31st May 2011.

The AGM will comprise Reports from the Chairman and Committee and from the sub-Committees including Gardening, Infrastructure and Security with opportunities to pose questions and raise matters of concern.

The Managing Agents (Hazelvine) have been invited to be represented.

It would be appreciated if matters for ‘Any Other Business’ could be submitted beforehand to enable any necessary research to be conducted so that properly informed answers can be given.

It is intended that the Agenda will be published on the QEP Website: www.qepark.co.uk and will also be available via Residents’ Accounts at Hazelvine.  (Residents may wish to take this opportunity to register with Hazelvine if they have not already done so -http://www.hazelvine.com/ and click on My Account.)  Copies will also be distributed to homes and businesses in QEP.

The AGM is also the time at which Officers  complete their terms of office and their posts, and those of the General Committee, are filled by the election of volunteers.  It would be helpful if the names of any volunteers could be passed to the Secretary by 31st May.

Jim Blake

Honorary Secretary QEPRA
