QEP Fair 2010

The next Neighbourhood Police Meeting will take place at Emmanuel Church, Stoughton on the 9th December, starting at 7.30pm.

The Dog Warden and the Environmental Enforcement Co-ordinator will be attending and welcome your questions.

If you have any concerns which the Police can help with, please come along and raise them, you may find you are not alone and the Police will seek the views of the meeting on what their local priorities should be for the next couple of months.

The next Stoughton police meeting will be at 7.30pm on Wednesday 20th May 2009 in Emmanuel Church, Stoughton, and will include an informative presentation given by a police drugs officer and a member of SADAS ( Surrey Alcohol and Drugs Abuse Service).

The meeting will address continued problems with alcohol – especially underage drinking – and attempts to sell drugs outside Budgens.

Would you like to know when police are deployed after your call to report an incident or how shops are able to obtain an alcohol licence? Are you fed up with anti social behaviour etc?
Come along and listen to the presentations and ask all those burning questions.

Police Meeting – Jan 28th 2009

The 2008 Fayre is almost upon us – it will be fantastic!
Ann Milton has confirmed that she will be coming along and that the Fire and Rescue Services will be there with a giant tender.
Guildford Council will be represented by the Deputy Mayor Pauline Searle and there will be a stand dealing with the local environment.
Eagle Radio is also coming along with the Love Crew and a manned Giant Slide.
The Love Crew will roam area interviewing both helpers and ‘punters’ at the Fayre.
As in previous years there will be food and craft stalls, a BBQ and a bar featuring Hogs Back beers.
For children of all ages we have a range of inflatables such as the Jungle Run and Bungee Races and of course our very successful Village Games will take place at 2.00pm.
This year we will also feature two exciting workshops where children can make plaster casts of fossils, discover sharks teeth and explore the wonders of our planet down a microscope.
Time of course is always our enemy and would ask folks who would like to help to either distribute leaflets beforehand or help on the day to contact us

Dodge Ball: Dodge Ball

Have some fun! Esporta are holding a Midsummer Ball which is open to their members, QEP residents and their guests. The evening promises to be great entertainment, with live music by ‘Souled Out’, a three course dinner and welcome drinks. Tickets can be bought individually or matched together to form tables of 10.

The quarterly Police neighbourhood panel meeting takes place on 21st May, 7.30pm at Emmanuel Church. Everyone is invited.

This is your opportunity to raise any issues that trouble you with PC Steve Cake, PCSO Sheila Willis and other members of the neighbourhood police team (you can usually have a quiet word with them at the end if you don’t wish to speak out during the meeting).

If you have encountered vandalism or any other sort of anti-social behaviour come and tell the team about it, you will find other people there with similar problems. Towards the end of the meeting a vote is usually taken on which issues YOU would like the police to focus on for the next 3 months.
